الیکشن کمیشن کا سیاسی جماعتوں سے انتخابی نشان واپس لینے کا اختیار صحیح قرار
لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے سیاسی جماعتوں سے انتخابی نشان واپس لینے کے الیکشن کمیشن کے اختیار کو درست قرار دے دیا۔
جسٹس شاہد بلال حسن نے سیاسی جماعتوں سے انتخابی نشان واپس لینے کے اختیار کے خلاف جمع کرائی گئی درخواست خارج کرنے کا تحریری فیصلہ جاری کیا۔ 18 صفحات پہ مشتمل فیصلے میں عدالت کہا گیا کہ الیکشن ایکٹ 2017 کی سیکشن 215 آئین سے متصادم نہیں ہے ۔
عدالتی فیصلے کے مطابق آئین آرٹیکل 17,9,14 سمیت دیگر آرٹیکلز کی روشنی میں یہ سیکشن آئین سے متصادم نہیں ہے۔ الیکشن کمیشن کو با اختیار بنانے کے لیے الیکشن ایکٹ 2017 میں شامل کیا گیا۔
