جرمنی کی شہریت کے قوانین میں نرمی
جرمنی نے حصولِ شہریت کے قوانین میں نرمی اور دوہری شہریت رکھنے پر پابندی ختم کرنے کے لیے قانون سازی کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔
اس قانون کے بعد لوگ اس وقت چھ یا آٹھ سال کے بجائے تین یا پانچ سال کے بعد "خصوصی انضمام کی کامیابیوں" کی صورت میں شہریت حاصل کرنے کے اہل ہوں گئے۔
جرمنی میں پیدا ہونے والے بچے خود بخود شہری بن جائیں گے اگر ان کے والدین میں سے ایک پانچ سال سے جرمنی میں قانونی طور پر مقیم ہو۔ پہلے یہ دورانیہ آٹھ سال پہ محیط تھا۔
دوہری شہریت، روایتی طور پر صرف یورپی یونین کے دیگر ممالک کے شہریوں کے لیے اجازت دی جائے گی، جس سے ہزاروں جرمن نژاد ترک ووٹر بن جائیں گے۔
