میں نے پیشانی کی شیلف خالی کر دی
تاکہ وہ ترتیب سے رکھ لے
اپنے تمام الزام
اس نے دونوں ہاتھ آگے بڑھائے
اور مجھ سے فائدہ اٹھا لیا
بھر گئے ہم دونوں
مفاد سے وہ
الزام سے میں!
بدنصیبی سے بڑا طعنہ
اور دولت سے بڑا تمغہ
کہیں دنیا میں ہو تو بتاؤ!
وہ میرے پسینے سے اپنا ظرف بھرتا ہے
میں سوکھنے لگوں تو لگا دیتا ہے
کسی اور کو پسینہ بہانے پر
زمین پر نہ انسان کم ہیں
نہ حرص کے برتن
یہ دنیا جھیل ہے
پسینے کے قطروں سے بنی جھیل
جس کے مالک وہ ہیں
جو خود پسینہ نہیں بہاتے!
