Call for Election Delay Gains Traction: Another Resolution Submitted in Senate

The resolution cites harsh weather conditions and security apprehensions as primary reasons for advocating a deferment of the polls. Independent Senator Hilal-ur-Rehman, representing erstwhile FATA, put forth this latest resolution, merely two days after a similar resolution was presented in the upper house of parliament. Additionally, he underscored the numerous obstacles faced by candidates during election campaigns, further advocating for a delay in the electoral process.
