COAS General Asim Munir Emphasises Self-Accountability and Youth Empowerment
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the importance of self-accountability, urging individuals to focus on their own responsibilities and performance instead of indulging in "baseless criticism."
Speaking to university students in Bahawalpur on Saturday, General Munir reaffirmed the army's dedication to supporting and guiding the nation's youth, as reported by Radio Pakistan on Sunday. He encouraged students to strive for academic excellence and equip themselves with essential skills to contribute effectively to national progress.
Praising the youth’s crucial role in shaping Pakistan’s future, he reiterated the army’s commitment to initiatives that empower young talent. He stated that as long as brave mothers continue to sacrifice their sons for Pakistan and the youth remain united with the armed forces, no harm can come to the country.
General Munir also pointed out that terrorism is backed by an organized illegal network, with certain elements supporting its agenda. He noted that whenever the state takes action against such forces, their "false narratives" are propagated to weaken these efforts.
