Former ISI Chief Faiz Hamid Sentenced to 14 Years in Rigorous Imprisonment by FGCM
The Field General Court Martial (FGCM) has handed a 14-year sentence of rigorous imprisonment to former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hamid, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Thursday.
According to the military’s media wing, court martial proceedings against Hamid, who was then a serving lieutenant general, formally began on August 12, 2024, under the Pakistan Army Act. The legal process continued for more than 15 months before culminating in Thursday’s verdict.
