Imran Khan expelled Sher Afzal Marwat from the PTI
According to sources, Sher Afzal Marwat was removed due to repeated violations of party discipline. He had previously been issued a show-cause notice for making statements against the party.
Sources further revealed that Imran Khan expressed his displeasure over Marwat’s unnecessary speech at the Swabi rally. Party leaders will soon issue a notification to terminate his basic party membership. Once his membership is revoked, he will be asked to resign as an MNA.
Additionally, sources stated that PTI leaders had complained to Imran Khan about Marwat’s conduct at the Swabi rally. Meanwhile, PTI’s Additional Secretary-General, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, has issued the official notification.
