Newcastle United have turned down a formal offer of approximately £110 million from Liverpool for striker Alexander Isak.

The proposed fee falls well short of Newcastle’s valuation, with sources close to the club stating it would take at least £150 million for them to even consider parting ways with the Swedish forward.

Despite the rejection, Isak and his representatives remain intent on securing a move away from St. James’ Park this summer. The 24-year-old is currently training at the facilities of his former club, Real Sociedad, in Spain as speculation about his future intensifies.
