مشیر اطلاعات خیبرپختونخوا بیرسٹر ڈاکٹر سیف نے کہا ہے کہ تیل کی قیمتوں میں معمولی کمی عوام کے ساتھ مذاق ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی قیمتوں میں نمایاں کمی کے باوجود حکومت نے عوام کو ریلیف دینے میں سنجیدگی کا مظاہرہ نہیں کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عمران خان کے دور میں پٹرول 150 روپے فی لیٹر تھا، اور وہی عوام کو ریلیف دینے والے واحد رہنما ہیں۔
