ATC Sentences Top PTI Leaders to 10 Years Over May 9 Violence
A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Faisalabad has sentenced several senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Zartaj Gul, and others, to 10 years in prison. The verdict is linked to the May 9, 2023, violent protests that took place at the Civil Lines Police Station.
