COAS Chairs 268th Corps Commanders Conference: Strong Commitment to Counter Terrorism and National Stability
Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), chaired the 268th Corps Commanders Conference, according to the ISPR. The forum began with prayers for the martyrs and paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians in safeguarding national peace.
The participants received a detailed briefing on regional developments, internal security challenges, and Pakistan’s strategic response to evolving threats. The forum reaffirmed its unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism without discrimination.
The forum further declared that hostile elements and their supporters attempting to destabilize Pakistan will be dealt with using the full force of the state. It emphasized that no one will be allowed to disrupt peace in Balochistan and vowed to defeat those pursuing political or social agendas against the province, with full support from the people of Balochistan.
