Forensic Report Reveals New Clue in Humaira Asghar’s Mysterious Death
A fresh lead has emerged in the mysterious death of actress Humaira Asghar after a forensic report confirmed the presence of sea salt in bowls found inside her apartment in Defence Phase 6.
According to investigators, six samples were analyzed — five from bowls recovered in the apartment and one from the kitchen's salt supply. The forensic findings revealed that the substance in the bowls was sea salt, which differed chemically from the kitchen salt.
Sea salt is commonly used to absorb odors and deter insects. The presence of these bowls — and the unusual choice of salt — has raised questions about their purpose and potential link to her death. Authorities believe this discovery could offer vital clues for the ongoing investigation.
Humaira’s decomposed body was discovered on July 8 after a court bailiff forcibly entered her apartment due to non-payment of rent. Her remains indicated that she had died nearly eight months earlier. She was last professionally active in September 2024 and had limited contact with others afterward, raising concerns of financial and social isolation.
