Indian missile attacks on 3 Pakistani air bases fail, all assets safe: ISPR
In an emergency press briefing, DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that India launched surface-to-ground missiles targeting three major Pakistani air bases: Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot. The attacks were largely intercepted by Pakistan’s air defense systems, and all air force assets remain unharmed.
He stated that multiple missiles were destroyed mid-air, while some landed near bases but caused no significant damage. He condemned the Indian strikes as cowardly and destabilizing, warning that India is pushing the region toward full-scale conflict.
The DG ISPR further claimed that India also fired missiles into Afghanistan, an alarming move that threatens regional peace. Electronic evidence of the missile strikes exists, according to Pakistan's military.
In a previous briefing, he added that six ballistic missiles launched from Adampur — five landed in Amritsar and one in Adampur itself — highlighting Indian misfires. He also accused India of targeting the Sikh community, expressing solidarity with them and condemning Indian state-sponsored terrorism.
