Mahira Khan Highlights Pay Inequality in Pakistan’s Entertainment Industry
Actor Mahira Khan has raised concerns over pay disparity and the absence of structured compensation systems in Pakistan’s film and television industry. She shared these views during a special Eid Day One show hosted by Vasey Chaudhry.
Appearing alongside co-star Fahad Mustafa to promote their upcoming film Aag Lagey Basti Main, Mahira pointed out the challenges faced by emerging actors. She noted that while established names continue to secure consistent work and income, many junior artists struggle to sustain themselves in the industry.
