On Sunday, January 7, 2024, His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Adam Bagoudou Zakaria, the Ambassador of the Republic of Benin in Riyadh. During the meeting at the OIC headquarters, Ambassador Zakaria presented his credentials as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Benin to the OIC. Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the current level of relations between the OIC and the Republic of Benin and shared a mutual commitment to enhancing and strengthening these ties further. The discussions also touched upon various issues of common interest, including the situation in Palestine and the evolving developments in the Sahel region.
