Pakistan Condemns Israeli Attack on Iran, Calls for Global Accountability
Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli military strikes on the Islamic Republic of Iran, labeling the aggression as "unjustified and illegitimate." The ministry emphasized that these actions are a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and are in direct contravention of the UN Charter and core tenets of international law.
The statement reaffirmed Iran’s right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter and stressed that such provocations pose a severe threat to regional and global peace and stability.
Pakistan expressed unwavering solidarity with the Iranian people and urged the international community, especially the United Nations, to intervene. It called for an immediate halt to Israeli aggression and demanded accountability for violations of international norms.
