Pakistan Says Operation “Ghazab lil-Haq” Continues Amid Concerns Over TTP Presence
Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi has clarified that Operation “Ghazab lil-Haq” remains ongoing, dismissing reports of any suspension following Eid ul Fitr. He stated on Thursday that a temporary pause in the operation had ended on March 24.
Andrabi emphasized that the operation will continue as long as the Afghan Taliban are perceived to be supporting the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and allowing militant groups to use Afghan territory for activities against Pakistan.
Describing the nature of the campaign, he said the operation is a precise and targeted military effort aimed at dismantling terrorist leadership, command structures, infrastructure, and logistical networks. He added that it also targets facilitators and individuals providing support to militant activities in Taliban-controlled areas.
