South Korean Opposition Leader Lee Jae-myung Hospitalized in Seoul Following Neck Stabbing
South Korean opposition figure Lee Jae-myung was transported to a hospital in Seoul after sustaining a neck injury during a visit to the southeastern port city of Busan. The incident occurred as Lee, leader of the main opposition Democratic Party, was walking with journalists on Tuesday morning. A man from the crowd unexpectedly lunged at him, stabbing him on the left side of the neck. While emergency officials have stated that he is not in critical condition, his exact status remains undisclosed.
