Trial Court to Rule on Imran Khan's 'Un-Islamic Nikah' Today
The trial court is set to deliver its verdict today on the "un-Islamic nikah" involving former PM Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi. The pronouncement will be made by Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah at Adiala jail, following a lengthy 14-hour hearing held within the jail premises yesterday. This verdict relates to the plea filed by Bushra Bibi's former husband, Khawar Maneka, contesting the validity of what he deems an un-Islamic and unlawful nikah with the former prime minister.
