U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that a new agreement with Iran will be signed shortly, adding that Tehran is also willing to finalize the deal.
Speaking to reporters, Trump stated that the pact was reached on Sunday and could be formally signed within days. “So, the deal we reached with Iran on Sunday will be signed shortly, tomorrow, maybe the next day,” Trump said, without providing further details about the terms of the agreement.
The statement comes amid ongoing diplomatic discussions between Washington and Tehran over regional tensions and nuclear-related concerns.
