Uzma Bukhari Advises KP Chief Minister: Study the Law Before Teaching It to Others
Punjab’s Minister for Information, Uzma Bukhari, has strongly reacted to the letter written by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, advising him to “study the law first.”
In her statement, Bukhari said that Afridi should not attempt to lecture them on legal matters, adding that arranging meetings for prisoners in jails does not fall under the authority of the Punjab Chief Minister. She clarified that Maryam Nawaz does not interfere in the work of any government official.
Uzma Bukhari further stated that Imran Khan receives visitors twice a week, with a total of 420 meetings held with his lawyers and 189 meetings with family members so far. She added that instead of teaching others, Afridi should focus on understanding the law himself.
