Bolivia's state power company, Ende, has chosen Consorcio Hidroeléctrica Miguillas II as the winner to supervise the completion of the 203MW Miguillas hydro project in La Paz department. The winning bid amounted to 26.4 million bolivianos (approximately US$3.82 million). The project, which includes machine houses Umapalca (85MW) and Palillada (118MW), is expected to be operational by the end of 2025 and will connect to the national grid. The contract for project supervision spans 720 days, with an additional 180 days for the final reception phase.
