The Saudi authorities have officially declared the commencement of operational activities for this year's Hajj season. Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced this development at the conclusion of the four-day Hajj and Umrah Services Conference in Jeddah. The primary focus of the conference was to showcase Saudi Arabia's exclusive projects designed for Hajj pilgrims, underscoring the commitment to enhancing service quality for Hajj and Umrah journeys. The event highlighted a dedication to providing improved services for these sacred pilgrimages and facilitating the entry of pilgrims and Umrah performers from around the world. Numerous innovative services and technologies were unveiled, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah expressed gratitude to King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for sponsoring the third iteration of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition. As preparations for the 2024 Hajj are finalized, the Saudi government, including nations like Pakistan, has successfully concluded Hajj agreements. Pakistan, for instance, has secured about 179,000 seats for the Hajj, with private Hajj operators acquiring half of these seats.
