خانیوال میں انتخابی جلسے سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے مریم نواز نے کہا کہ سیاست میں اچھا بُرا وقت آتا رہتا ہے، مسلم لیگ میدان چھوڑ کر بھاگی نہیں ہے۔ خانیوال نے ہمیشہ شیر کا ساتھ دیا ہے، خانیوال والوں نے شیر کے علاوہ کسی کو گھسنے نہیں دیا۔ مریم نواز نے عوام کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا آپ کی اس بیٹی نے بھی مشکل کا سامنا کیا، مجھے ماں کی موت کی خبر اڈیالہ جیل میں دی گئی، نہ میں نے اپنے باپ کا سر جھکنے دیا اور نہ عوام کا، عوام کا سمندر بتا رہا ہے کہ مہنگائی کی ذمہ دار ن لیگ نہیں ہے۔
