پاکستان میں انٹرنیٹ میں تعطل
پاکستان میں سوشل میڈیا صارفین کو آئے روز انٹرنیٹ کی بندش کے واقعات کا سامنا کرنا پڑ رہا ہے اور خاص کر موجودہ سیاسی حالات میں اس بندش کے اثرات زیادہ نمایاں ہو کے سامنے آئے ہیں۔ اس حوالے سے نگراں حکومت کبھی تکنینکی مسائل کی بات کرتی ہے اور کبھی ویب مانیٹرنگ سسٹم اپ گریڈیشن کو وجہِ خرابی قرار دیتی ہے۔
پاکستان میں انٹرنیٹ کے ماہرین جانتے ہیں کہ ’ویب مانیٹرنگ سسٹم‘ پاکستان نے دسمبر 2018 میں 18.5 ملین ڈالر کی لاگت سے ایک کینیڈین کمپنی سے لیا تھا۔
متنازع ویب مانیٹرنگ سسٹم اب پی ٹی آئی کو نشانہ بنانے کا ایک آلہ بنتا جا رہا ہے، جس نے 8 فروری کے عام انتخابات سے قبل 3 ورچوئل جلسے کیے، بین الاقوامی سائبر سیکیورٹی واچ ڈاگ نیٹ بلاکس کے مطابق 2 جلسے انٹرنیٹ کی بندش کی وجہ سے متاثر ہوئے۔
